Which Citrix ADC hardware or software platform offers a Multi-Tenant solution?

The Citrix ADC SDX appliance is a hardware-based, multi-tenant platform designed for consolidation. It runs the Citrix Hypervisor, allowing it to host and manage multiple, completely isolated Citrix ADC instances on a single physical appliance. Each instance, which is essentially a VPX instance, receives dedicated resources such as CPU cores, memory, SSL capacity, and network throughput. This architecture enables service providers or large enterprises to offer ADC-as-a-Service or securely partition ADC functions for different departments or applications, making SDX the definitive multi-tenant solution in the Citrix ADC portfolio.

A. VPX: A VPX is a virtual appliance that represents a single tenant or instance. It can be hosted on an SDX appliance but is not the multi-tenant platform itself.

B. MPX: An MPX is a dedicated physical appliance that runs a single instance of the Citrix ADC software, making it an inherently single-tenant platform.

C. CPX: A CPX is a containerized form factor of Citrix ADC. Each container is a lightweight, single instance intended for microservices environments, not a multi-tenant platform.

Section: Introduction

Quote/Content: "The Citrix ADC SDX appliance is a multitenant platform on which you can provision and manage multiple virtual Citrix ADC machines (instances). The SDX appliance addresses cloud-scale and multitenant deployments by allowing a single administrator to configure and manage the appliance and delegate the administration of each hosted instance to tenants."
