What are two features of On-Box Python for hosting an application on a network device? (Choose two.)

On-Box Python on Cisco IOS XE devices operates within a secure, containerized Linux environment known as the Guest Shell. This architecture provides a platform to run custom Python scripts directly on the network device. A key feature of this environment is the inclusion of a Cisco-provided Python cli module. This module grants scripts direct access to the device's Command-Line Interface (CLI), allowing them to execute commands (e.g., show version) and process the output. This enables powerful on-box automation for tasks like monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting without needing an external controller.

C. Python is a scripting language; it executes Python (.py) scripts. While Python can process XML data, it does not natively "execute" XML scripts.

D. The Guest Shell is a command-line Linux environment. It does not have a graphical subsystem to support GUI toolkits like Qt for building graphical interfaces.

E. On-Box Python runs locally on the device. It interacts directly with the device's internal systems (like the CLI), not through an external controller to access the web UI.

"Python CLI Module" section. This section explicitly states

"The Python CLI module provides a simple way to run CLI commands from a Python script

" and provides the example cli.execute("show version").
