If a key feature of cloud computing that your organization desires is the ability to scale and expand withoutlimit or concernabout available…

The public cloud deployment model is characterized by massive resource pools owned and operated by a third-party provider, made available to the general public over the internet. This model offers the greatest potential for elasticity and scalability, often described as "seemingly infinite." An organization can provision and de-provision resources on demand without being constrained by the physical limitations of its own data center, which is the core desire expressed in the question. This aligns with the NIST definition of a public cloud's characteristics, where resources are pooled to serve multiple consumers using a multi-tenant model.

B. Hybrid clouds combine public and private clouds but are still partially limited by the scale of the private portion, so they are not "without limit."

C. Private clouds are dedicated to a single organization and are fundamentally limited by the hardware and resources that the organization can procure and manage.

D. Community clouds are shared by several organizations with common concerns and are limited by the collective resources of that specific community.
