Which AWS services can be used to store files? (Select TWO.)

Amazon S3 is a highly scalable object storage service designed for storing and retrieving any amount of data, including files, from anywhere on the web. It is a primary service for file storage. Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) provides persistent block-level storage volumes for use with Amazon EC2 instances. After an EBS volume is attached to an instance and a file system is created on it, it functions as a hard drive where files can be stored and accessed by the operating system.

B. AWS Lambda is a serverless compute service that runs code in response to events; it is not a primary file storage service.

D. Amazon SageMaker is a fully managed service for building, training, and deploying machine learning models, not a general-purpose file storage service.

E. AWS Storage Gateway is a hybrid cloud storage service that connects on-premises environments to AWS storage; it is a bridge, not the storage service itself.

1. Amazon S3: AWS Documentation

"What is Amazon S3?". It states

"Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) is an object storage service that offers industry-leading scalability

data availability

security

and performance. You can use Amazon S3 to store and retrieve any amount of data at any time

from anywhere."

2. Amazon EBS: AWS Documentation

"What is Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS)?". It states

"Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) is an easy-to-use

high-performance block storage service... You can create a file system on top of these volumes

or use them in any other way you would use a block device (like a hard drive)."

3. AWS Lambda: AWS Documentation

"What is AWS Lambda?". It describes Lambda as a "serverless

event-driven compute service that lets you run code for virtually any type of application or backend service without provisioning or managing servers." This confirms its role as a compute

not storage

service.

4. AWS Storage Gateway: AWS Documentation

"What is AWS Storage Gateway?". It defines the service as one that "connects an on-premises software appliance with cloud-based storage to provide seamless integration with data security features between your on-premises environment and the AWS storage infrastructure." This clarifies its role as a gateway.
