Where in the NetBackup Administration Console should an administrator look to determine whether an AdvancedDisk storage server is configured?

In the Veritas NetBackup Administration Console, the configuration and management of all storage types, including storage servers and disk pools, are centralized under the NetBackup Management node. To determine if an AdvancedDisk storage server is configured, an administrator must navigate to NetBackup Management > Storage. Within this section, the Storage Servers node lists all configured storage servers, and the Disk Pools node shows the associated AdvancedDisk disk pools. This is the primary and authoritative location for viewing this configuration.

B. Media and Device Management > Device Monitor: This area is used for monitoring the real-time operational status of storage devices (e.g., tape drives, disk staging units), not for viewing their static configuration.

C. Media and Device Management > Devices: This section is primarily for the configuration and management of physical hardware devices, such as tape drives and robotic libraries, not logical constructs like AdvancedDisk storage servers.

D. Media and Device Management > Credentials: This location is specifically for managing the authentication credentials required to access certain types of storage, such as cloud storage or third-party appliances, not for listing all configured storage servers.

" the section "About storage servers in NetBackup" describes the management of storage servers. The guide consistently directs administrators to the NetBackup Management > Storage > Storage Servers path to view and manage these entities.

"Configuring AdvancedDisk storage

" the procedure for creating an AdvancedDisk disk pool explicitly begins with the instruction: "In the NetBackup Administration Console

expand NetBackup Management > Storage." This confirms that the entire configuration workflow for AdvancedDisk resides within this console path. The guide also clarifies that an AdvancedDisk storage server (a media server) is automatically added to the storage server list upon the creation of its first disk pool

a list which is viewed at NetBackup Management > Storage > Storage Servers.
