What is the maximum number of cells that a Google Sheets file can have?

A single Google Sheets file has a maximum capacity of 10 million cells. This limit applies to spreadsheets created directly in Google Sheets or those converted from other formats like Microsoft Excel. This substantial limit allows for the management and analysis of very large datasets within a single workbook. The option 10,485,760 is the closest numerical representation of this limit among the choices.

A. 5,242,880: This represents the older limit of 5 million cells, which Google has since increased.

B. 2,097,152: This was a much earlier cell limit for Google Sheets and is significantly outdated.

D. 1,048,576: This number is the maximum number of rows in a single worksheet in modern versions of Microsoft Excel, not the cell limit in Google Sheets.
