effectiveness of GitHub Copilot? (Each correct answer presents part of the solution. Choose two.) 1 1. blog.yatricloud.com blog.yatricloud.com

The GitHub Copilot API provides endpoints for organizations to programmatically access usage metrics. This data is crucial for evaluating the tool's effectiveness and return on investment. The API exposes the total number of code suggestions shown and the number of suggestions accepted, from which the acceptance rate can be calculated. Furthermore, the API offers a granular breakdown of these metrics by the specific editor or interface used, including separate data for Copilot Chat, allowing organizations to understand how different features are being adopted.

A. The API provides usage metrics (e.g., acceptance counts), not qualitative analysis or reports on code quality improvements.

C. Refactoring code is a core function of the GitHub Copilot tool itself, not a capability of the administrative API used for tracking metrics.

D. The API is for retrieving usage data and managing settings; it does not provide real-time feedback on coding style or standards compliance.
