Question: 88 I Which orchestration tool is supported by NVIDIA AI Enterprise in HPE Private Cloud AI?

HPE Private Cloud AI is a turnkey solution co-developed with NVIDIA that provides a full-stack, AI-native architecture. This architecture's software foundation is built upon container orchestration to manage and scale AI workloads efficiently. NVIDIA AI Enterprise, the core software suite in this solution, is designed to be deployed on Kubernetes clusters. The HPE AI software foundation, which underpins the solution, explicitly supports Kubernetes distributions, such as Red Hat OpenShift, to orchestrate the containerized applications and NVIDIA NIM microservices.

B. Citrix Director: This is a monitoring and troubleshooting console for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments, not a container orchestration tool for AI workloads.

C. Windows Server Manager: This is a management utility for administering roles and features on Windows Server operating systems; it is not a container orchestration platform.

D. MS Hyper-V: This is a Type-1 hypervisor for creating and managing virtual machines. While containers can run within VMs, Hyper-V itself does not orchestrate containers.

"A full-stack

AI-native architecture": "The solution includes a full AI software stack with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software... It is built on the HPE AI software foundation

which includes software for data and model foundation

AI tuning and inference

and Red Hat OpenShift or other Kubernetes distributions." This directly confirms that Kubernetes is the orchestration layer.

Section: "Prerequisites": The guide explicitly lists a "Kubernetes cluster" as a fundamental prerequisite for deploying NVIDIA AI Enterprise. It details requirements for the cluster version

container runtime

and network interface

confirming Kubernetes as the designated orchestration platform.
