A customer wants storage ownership but also cloud-like analytics. Which HPE offering fits?

The customer requires two key features: traditional ownership of the storage hardware (a capital expenditure) and advanced, cloud-like analytics. HPE Alletra is a portfolio of cloud-native data infrastructure that customers can purchase and own. It is managed through the HPE GreenLake cloud platform and is deeply integrated with HPE InfoSight. HPE InfoSight is an AIOps (AI for IT Operations) platform that provides the requested cloud-like analytics, including predictive monitoring, cross-stack intelligence, and proactive problem resolution. This combination directly meets both of the customer's requirements.

B. HPE GreenLake for Storage: This is an as-a-service offering where HPE retains ownership of the hardware, and the customer pays for consumption. This contradicts the customer's desire for "storage ownership."

C. HPE Apollo HPC: This is a specialized portfolio of compute and storage systems designed for High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI workloads, not for general-purpose storage with cloud-like analytics.

D. HPE Ezmeral Container Platform: This is a software platform for deploying and managing containerized applications. It is not a storage hardware offering that a customer can own.

1. HPE Alletra 6000 QuickSpecs: "HPE Alletra 6000 is cloud-native data infrastructure that is managed by HPE GreenLake cloud platform. It is available as-a-service through HPE GreenLake, or it can be purchased as a customer-managed configuration." This document confirms that Alletra can be purchased and owned ("customer-managed configuration"). It also highlights its management via the cloud platform, which includes InfoSight. (Document ID: a00113372enw, Page 1, "At a Glance" section).

2. HPE InfoSight At-a-Glance: "HPE InfoSight is the industry’s most advanced AI for infrastructure. It eliminates the pain of managing infrastructure by predicting and preventing problems before they can disrupt business... It brings software-defined intelligence to the data center with the ability to predict and prevent infrastructure problems from happening..." This source defines InfoSight as the "cloud-like analytics" component. (Document ID: 4AA6-4824ENW, Page 1, Introduction).

3. HPE GreenLake for Block Storage Solution Brief: "HPE GreenLake for Block Storage is a cloud data service that delivers self-service agility and mission-critical resiliency for your apps... delivered as a service with cloud operational agility..." This confirms the as-a-service model for GreenLake, which is contrary to the customer's ownership requirement. (Document ID: a50006029enw, Page 1, "Cloud Data Services for Everyone" section).
