Which peripheral replaces the mouse on a mobile device?

A stylus is a pen-shaped pointing device used to provide input on a touchscreen. Its primary function is to allow for precise interaction with the graphical user interface (GUI), such as selecting icons, drawing, or writing. This role is directly analogous to the function of a mouse on a desktop computer, which is also a pointing device used to control a cursor for GUI navigation and interaction. While a finger is the most common pointing tool on mobile devices, a stylus serves as a more precise replacement for a mouse.

B. Jack: A jack is a physical port or connector, typically for audio or power, not a user input device.

C. USB: USB (Universal Serial Bus) is an interface standard for connecting peripherals and transferring data; it is not a pointing device itself.

D. Camera: A camera is an input device for capturing visual information (images and video), not for navigating a user interface.
