What are the proper steps to create a Playbook?

Playbooks (formerly X-Play) live under the Prism Central “Intelligent Operations” menu.

When the Create Playbook wizard opens, the first pane is “Select Trigger” where you pick the event or schedule that starts the workflow.

After defining any optional conditions, the second pane is “Select Actions” where you add one or more actions that the playbook performs.

Finally, you review and click Save & Close (or Save & Enable).

Therefore, the only sequence that matches the product UI and documentation is:

1. Access Intelligent Operations → 2. Create the playbook → 3. Select the playbook trigger → 4. Select the playbook action(s) → 5. Save & Close.

A. Located in Self-Service; also chooses actions before triggers—does not match UI flow.

B. Correct trigger/action order but wrong location (Self-Service).

C. Correct location but reverses required order (action before trigger).

D. — (chosen as correct).
