Partner Domains are specific to which RUCKUS management platform?

Partner Domains are an architectural feature exclusive to the Virtual SmartZone - High Scale (vSZ-H) platform. The vSZ-H is designed for service providers and large enterprises requiring a multi-tenant management structure. It utilizes a three-level domain hierarchy: System, Partner, and Tenant. The Partner Domain level allows a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or a large organization to create and manage multiple, isolated Tenant (customer) domains, providing a scalable and secure framework for offering managed Wi-Fi services. This hierarchical structure is a key differentiator of the vSZ-H platform.

A. vSZ-E: This platform is for single-enterprise deployments and supports only a two-level domain hierarchy (System and Tenant), lacking the Partner Domain level.

C. Unleashed: This is a controller-less solution for small to medium-sized businesses and does not utilize the SmartZone domain architecture or the concept of Partner Domains.

D. RUCKUS Cloud: While it is a multi-tenant platform, RUCKUS Cloud uses a different management architecture and terminology (e.g., Customers, Venues) and does not use Partner Domains.

1. RUCKUS Networks, Virtual SmartZone (vSZ) 5.2.1 Administrator Guide.

Page 101, Section: "Domains": This section explicitly details the domain hierarchies. It states, "vSZ-H supports a three-level domain hierarchy: System Domain, Partner Domain, and Tenant Domain." In contrast, it specifies for vSZ-E: "vSZ-E supports a two-level domain hierarchy: System Domain and Tenant Domain." This directly confirms that Partner Domains are specific to vSZ-H.

2. CommScope, RUCKUS SmartZone Product Family Datasheet.

Page 3, Section: "Virtual SmartZone - High Scale (vSZ-H)": Under the features list for vSZ-H, the datasheet notes: "Hierarchical multi-tenancy enables managed service providers to create and manage a virtually unlimited number of partner domains and customer zones." This marketing and technical document corroborates the feature's exclusivity to the vSZ-H model.
