What feature of Google Sheets allows you to freeze rows or columns so they remain visible while scrolling?

In Google Sheets, the "Freeze panes" feature is used to keep a specific area of a worksheet visible while you scroll to another area. This is particularly useful for keeping row headers or column labels in view when working with large datasets. The option is found under the "View" > "Freeze" menu, where you can select the number of rows or columns to freeze. This functionality is standard across most spreadsheet applications.

"Protect range" is a security feature that prevents specified users from editing a part of the sheet; it does not affect scrolling visibility.

"Pin rows/columns" is not the terminology used in Google Sheets for this feature; the correct term is "Freeze."

"Lock cells" is synonymous with protecting cells from being edited, not with keeping them visible during scrolling.
