Which option defines organizational culture?

Organizational culture is fundamentally a system of shared meaning held by its members that distinguishes the organization from others. This shared system includes values, beliefs, assumptions, and norms that shape the attitudes and behaviors of employees. It represents the collective understanding of "how things are done around here" and provides a framework for sense-making and control within the organization.

A. A system of unique physical parameters describes the organization's physical environment or artifacts, which are manifestations of culture, not the definition of culture itself.

B. A human resources program for recognizing diversity is a specific initiative or policy that may reflect the organization's culture, but it is not the culture itself.

C. A method of stratifying the organization's target market is a marketing strategy and is external-facing, not a definition of the internal shared meaning system.
