What is one benefit of OneAPI?

OneAPI is Zscaler's framework for providing a unified and consistent method for programmatic interaction with its cloud platform. A primary benefit of this approach is that it simplifies API integration by using a single entry point. This includes a common authentication method (API key and timestamp-based HMAC signature), a consistent base URL structure, and standardized session management. This consolidation reduces the complexity for developers and administrators who are building automation and integrations, as they do not need to manage different credentials or processes for various Zscaler services.

A. A key goal of a unified API is to have a single, simplified registration and authentication process, not multiple ones.

B. A well-designed API, like OneAPI, uses a session-based authentication model to avoid repeated authorization messages for every request, improving efficiency.

D. The OneAPI framework uses a single authenticated session and associated token/cookie, eliminating the need for multiple token requests for different API calls within that session.
