Which action best supports a future-proofed workplace from a sustainability perspective?

A future-proofed workplace from a sustainability perspective relies heavily on digital transformation to minimize environmental impact while maximizing operational efficiency. Deploying advanced collaboration and networking solutions enables flexible, hybrid work models, which significantly reduce commuting-related greenhouse gas emissions and optimize real estate energy consumption. Smart networking infrastructure allows for intelligent building management, such as automated lighting and HVAC controls based on occupancy, further driving energy efficiency. By leveraging these technologies, organizations can adapt to evolving environmental regulations and workforce expectations, ensuring long-term resilience and a reduced carbon footprint in alignment with global sustainability targets.

B. Using printed documents increases paper waste and deforestation, directly contradicting environmental sustainability goals.

C. Removing remote access forces employees to commute, increasing carbon emissions and reducing workplace flexibility.

D. Avoiding modernization prevents the adoption of energy-efficient technologies and smart building solutions necessary for sustainability.
